Almost on the other side of the world, Canada offers another great place to see the Northern Lights. Lake Superior, an hour north of Ontario by snowmobile, offers another spectacular light display. Similar to Tromsø, this is one of the coldest options for your trip, so be sure to pack the thickest and warmest gear! It is definitely not recommended to try snowmobiling yourself, especially if you don’t live in the area or have experienced similar weather.
